Jerry Light

DLight Refiners, a second-generation refiner, has been servicing the jewelry industry with the best customer care in the business for over 40 years, and diligently carries on the tradition, reputation and philosophies of Jerry Light Refiners. Jerry Light taught the importance of treating the customer right, of always delivering with integrity and earning repeat business.

He coined the phrase “No Surprises, No Disappointments”, and he was the original “The Only Choice that Puts You in Control”. Those who knew Jerry remember him for his charismatic personality, optimistic demeanor, sense of humor, his delicious hot sauce selection and renowned Kona coffee, he so enjoyed delivering personally to customer stores. Most importantly, Jerry’s customers remember him treating them right, and that it was a true pleasure doing business with him.

It’s an honor to walk in the Jerry Light footsteps, and DLight Refiners proudly extend the same respectable services to customers today.

And never forget Jerry’s personal claim to fame: In 1961, he was a part of the very first all-white, rhythm and blues singing group in Motown History, “The Valadiers”.

The Valadiers became notable as the very first all-white R&B vocal group signed to Motown in the early 1960’s. They recorded a hit record on the Miracle label “Greetings (this is Uncle Sam)” in 1961 and it made it to the Billboard Pop Chart as # 89. In this particular song, Jerry Light is distinguishably found ad-libbing the drill sergeants taunts. Top left to right, Gary Frenkel, Marty Coleman.
